My lude is finally tuned...

It took about a month to get the tune right but it was worth the wait. The first dyno pull was done at the usual shop i go to with temps in the high 70's. The 2nd dyno sheet was when he cleaned up the fuel a little and it was 55 degrees with extremely low humidity. He took even more fuel away on sunday and pulled a few degrees of timing squeezing about 14 more hp out the engine.

P28 OBD1 ECU
Precision Auto tuned with CROME
JRSC 9lbs
440cc RC's
Mahle 9:1 pistons
KMS stainless valves
stock cams bla bla
Kamikaze Header
GReddy SP2
E.S. motor mounts

Was there anything in particular that ur shop had to look out for when installing the pistons in reguards to prepping the block????? Let me know, cuz then i'll know if my shop did anything wrong....MAN thats great news that ur using em and things r looking good

The pistons are great so far and there really isnt anything special about prepping the block for the Mahle pistons because of the grafal anti-friction coating that's applied to each piston skirt. I'm actually down on HP because I bought the lower compression 9:1 pistons. Most likely you have the 10:1 pistons so you should like yours even more. I wanted a really safe setup thats why I went with the 9:1's. The amount of torque on tap is also way better than I ever expected. Good luck with yours!

He meant that you don't need a key with a chip in it to start your 5th gen lude.

The immobilizer system is tied into the OBD2 ECU.
