My Car Will Not Start!!!!!

Hello Everyone,
This is the first time I am ever posting...But I am pretty familiar with PO.com. I have a problem with my 01 Electronic Blue Prelude.....Let me start from the top so I can inform you with this correctly.
It's June 19, 2003, at approximately 12 P.M. I started my car, about to leave from a parking lot. For the first time ever...it had a rough start...for some reason...like took 2 tries......( so i go on with it...thinkin it might be a one time thing...). I had planned on gettin an oil changed ( which I did ...about a half hour later ). I went to a shop where I watch them do the whole thing..I put in Castrol GTX 5w 30 Part Synthetic Oil...checked all the fluids and they all seemed fine.
I started the car...worked fine...a normal start.
Later I go to my freind's house , pick him up and go to the library...Came back a few hours later...and it had a rough start again..but this time it almost sounded liek the engine was gunna die on me, but it started the 2nd time...just barely..

So ...again, hoping it would go away I drove off to the gym..
Parked the car....and came back a few hours later.
The car did not start.
It's not the battery...The lights turned on fine...I reset the ecu ( took out the clock/radio fuse) and it started...
I didn't want to turn it off and try again because I wanted to take it home..
I came home....turned it off...and just for curiousity..I tried turning it on...nope.
Not even a click.
NO sound
No nothing.
I lifted the hood....it smelled like something burned...but I can't seem to find anything at all.
No codes/errors tend to show up when the key is in ignition position...it's not the battery..cuz it doesn't even make a clicking sound.
I dont' nkow what to do right now...except ask for generous help from all of you:
Please respond to this and let me know if anything like this has happened or what I should do ...yada yada...oh and also
My mods and information are as follows:

AEM CAI (Installed by Prelude Racer and me<<He lives near me)
NGK IRIDIUM IX SPark plugs
ACT CLUTCH ( I dont' nkow what stage..or what model...cuz it came with the car)
Miles: 39, 300
Year 2001

Please help...
Thanks

What sort of burning? Electrical(plastic)? or Mechnical (rubber or metalic)? I'd check fuses. and loose wires.

Well Honda had or might still be having a recall for a faulty ignition switch around here on 5th gen preludes..might want to check that out. And your car being an 01, i doubt it would be having starter problems, but then again some one could have messesed something up while installing your clutch. You should check all your starter, ignition and battery connections and wires to make sure everything was put back correctly.

i have replaced plenty of alternators on previous cars, and this scenario sounds familiar. might not hurt to check it out.

Basically, it was like electric burning...but I am not positive on it..And to update on this problem. I don't know how..... but the car started fine this morning. BUT I do notice that the clutch seems to feel a little different. I don't know...if it's just normal wear...or for some reason, when i shift from like first to 2nd or when i release the clutch i have to pull out a bit more.....I think it could be a clutch problem. I haven't had it checked out yet, But I will get people updated on this...as soon as I have the clutch checked out.

Are you sure its not just some excess oil burning on the valve cover?
