MUGEN STUFF......where can i get it?

Hey guys Just wanted to know where i can go to get mugen stuff like headers and other things like may be exhaust. Also do you think buying this stuff overseas like japan or china would be cheaper?

Also for those who have mugen stuff.... can someone give me or tell me where to get the part number on their stuff.

Also JDM foggies...whats the part number on that ?

I dunno about the other JDM stuff, but Mugen costs about the same even in Japan. Also, keep in mind that if you decide to get the exhaust, they are altered somewhat to fit US-spec base and SH models.

The Mugen Header and Cat-back are designed by Mugen to fit the JDM Prelude TypeS. The header and cat-back need to be altered to fit the US Base model. But if you have a TypeSH, you are in luck. These parts are both bolt ons for the US TypeSH. They do not need to be modified for size or fitment on a US Type SH.

The only thing I'm not sure of is if the header has the seconary O2 sensor bung from Mugen, or if King ads that bit in for North America... I'm pretty sure that the JDM Prelude models have the secondary O2 too... So I would guess that the bung is on there from the Mugen factory. You can try calling King and asking what modifications they make... You can also get the Mugen Part numbers off of the www.kingmotorsports.com site

You should be able to save quite a bit of cash by buying it in Okinowa. The header and cat-back retail for about $650-700 in Japan. I know you can get silly-cheap shipping in the military. My dad was stationed in Okinowa in 1969. He wanted to buy the then-brand-new Datsun 240 Z and ship it home. He could have bought one brand new and shipped it here for less than half of what he would have paid for the same Z in the US... He unfortuantely never did it due to lack of cash...
