Mugen Replica: VIS vs Extreme Dimensions vs VFiber vs ?

I'm considering a Mugen Replica body kit. Who here has applied a body kit? Which company did you use? How was the fitment? Which company do you suggest?

Here's a few links to the companys I've been able to find that do a Mugen Replica, if you've heard of others, let me know!

VIS Techno R: This one looks like straight fiberglass and looks like it will require a ton of prep-work. Probably not gonna buy it.

VFiber FRP TehcnoR
: This one is made out of some kind of funky, carbon fiber, urethane, fiberglass combo, kinda like Duraflex, I'm guessing. Seems like a good option.

Extreme Dimensions Type M: This one is the cheapest, and is made of Duraflex, which I hear is decent stuff. It comes with mounting hardware and instructions, which is a pretty big bonus. It's also the cheapest, which is always a double-edged sword. Unless you guys have had bad experiences with Extreme Dimensions, I'll probably get this one.

Any others? The Mugen Replica kit is the only one that actually makes an improvement over OEM (in my opinion). What do you guys think? Anyone have pics of it installed, especially the rears? I know Built_5thgen bought the Extreme Dimensions kit for his, but I haven't seen pics of it on and painted yet.

Thanks!

I'm not sure about any of those links you've mentioned, however if it involves fiberglass stay away.

H22PERFECTION is selling his prelude in the "Preludes For Sale" section and he has the whole kit installed. Check it out.

^IIRC the real mugen sides are fiberglass.

Fiberglass is fine for the sides and rear, but won't hold up on the front. Extreme dimensions' stuff has issues with really bad fitment, but VIS is much better. The Extreme dimensions kit takes quite a bit more work to make it look decent than the VIS kit does. Can't say I'm familiar with the "Vfiber" though.

The real mugen is made fo fiberglass so that if it ever gets damaged it can be repaired. I have a real mugen front and then the mugen seibon MG carbon fiber sides skirts and rear. If you get the polyeurothane it will be far more durable but once it is damaged thats pretty much it. The poly kits are fairly easy to get good fitment from as well as you can heat them up when you put them on to ease the shaping.
