Someone PLEASE tell me when you purchased your Mugen exhaust from King.. the B-Pipe came in another box? I purchased on for my Civic. I'm going to bust a vein if I paid this much for a damn can.

Hey jtown,

Doorbell rang and the UPS guy was here. I was REALLY excited. Opened the door and I see a box about as high as my waist! I'm like WTF!?!?!?! I lift it up and it's light as F***. I open it, and I only get a damn MUFFLER!!!!!!!! How the HELL is a MUFFLER called an exhaust "SYSTEM." This pisses me off. So I called and left a message with King asking for the tracking number for the B-Pipe, assuming that this is packaged seperately. IF they don't have one, I think I'm going to return this muffler. $699 for a DAMN MUFFLER! I hope I'm just getting ahead of myself. If not, I'm going to request a refund and also request that they change their website. IN NO WAY have I EVER seen an muffler referred to as an exhaust system.

Anyways I'm pissed. Excuse any rudeness.

I think they do come in separate boxes. If it was today, I bet you'll get it tomorrow. UPS ground is kinda slow and flaky sometimes. They should have 2 tracking numbers though.

King ships their Mugen Prelude exhausts in two pieces seperately. They often arrive on different days. Not sure about the Civic exhaust. Don't sweat it... you should be getting the b pipe tomorrow. I don't know anything about the Civic exhaust from Mugen, but I would think all their systems are full cat-back.

What year Civic? I think the earlier ones only have an axle back application.

92-95 Civic... I assumed that since the Prelude's catback was called "Sports Exhaust System," that the Civic's would be the same.

I'm not as mad now, but still.. I saved up for this bad boy.

If it doesn't come with the B-Pipe, do you guys know if I could order B-Piping from another exhaust system like GReddy?

Sorry that this is OT. I don't want to spread the word to the Civic board on HA that I have a Mugen. Some of those fools are theives.

Anyways I ordered the Mugen pedals tho

the mugen systems for civics are axle back only, but in my opinion they are worth the money. a friend of mine had one on his 99 civic.

$450 plus shipping right? we then sold it used for $275 shipped.

If you paid $699 for the exhaust then it's just the muffler. For $975 you get the two pieces. It also the same on http://www.inlinefour.com/
And the Mugen Sport Exhaust for Prelude comes in two boxes from King Motorsports. They also ship the B-pipe a day after they ship out the muffler. Seeing how the stock piping for the Civic exhaust isnt as good as stock exhaust for the Prelude, yes you definately wanna get some that would fit with the Mugen exhaust.

I used to have a 99 Civic SI and they only offered a mugen axleback, not a whole catback. Get an ITR B-pipe.
