I can't seem to find the same gasket anywhere. I have a bad exhaust leak, but I'm not sure where to get a gasket. I tried one of those metal crush gaskets and that was a bunch of shi t. Leaked more than it did before.

Is the stock gasket the same?
How did you find out you had an exhaust leak? Just from hearing a whistling noise at idle?
The gasket on the b-pipe to axel back flange is larger than stock. I used 1 new generic 2.25" composite o-ring from Pep-Boys - seemed to fit pretty good... Cost like $2.50.
I got the exhaust used from SteveV ... I think when he installed it, the gasket didn't line up correctly and about 1/4 of the inside of the flange was black with soot. I tried to reuse the gasket, but it was crushed really bad on 1/4 of it.
So I installed it and after a few months, I noticed black soot around 1/4 of the flange also so I was like sh it. At idle, there wasn't a leak, but I had my friend come over and floor while I was watching. You know when the car first starts up there's a lot of condensation in the exhaust? Well when he gassed it, as the engine was coming down, a liiiiiitle water squirted out ... I was like ****, I have a leak.
So I tried the crush gasket I had and after that, water was just flowing out of the flange .... scrap that.
now, I reinstalled the old gasket I had and water come out even at idle .... shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
The reason I was actually trying to fix it is cause I want it to be in tip top shape for my dyno .... which I haven't done yet. =T
I got my mugen exhaust and header used like you and we were freaking out for a while trying to figure out why there was only one aluminum crush gasket for the two ends (b-pipe to cat, and the b-pipe to muffler which you are talking about) correct? It has been awhile now, but from what you are saying the gasket is trashed and you cannot use it right? Try it without the gasket, I cannot remember which side did not need one but I do remember that there was only one for two different connections. BTW, If you do need it I would just call KingMotor and see if they can get you the gasket. They'll charge an arm and a leg but I doubt you will be able to get it anywhere else (that kind of gasket is rare).
I called King when I got mine (used) because I didn't want to reuse the old gasket. The guy at king said they were pretty rare and he would have to order one from japan. I don't think that is right and I definately don't think the stock gasket will fit no matter what. If you can find an aluminum crush gasket that will fit your probs are solved. Some one has to make them. Keep hasling the king fockers as well...
Right....now its all about sizing...If it was me I would hound King untill they gave me the specs, ordered me the part, or told me where I could get a comparable part. Or just measure yours(diameter and thickness) as accurate as you can and call the aerospace places.
jtown: Dude, I'm telling you, just go to any autoparts store or mufflershop and ask for a 2.25" exhaust gasket. If it does not fit right, return it and try another size. When I bought mine, I walked into the store with my Mugen axel-back under my arm and I just found the exhaust gasket that fit the flange best.
I swear, my exhaust had the same problem! I think King ships the wrong gasket with the catback. The guy I bought mine from was the original owner. And he sent me all his used gaskets. The axel back gasket was identical to a stock Honda gasket that I bought. It was was too small and did not fit in the flange. But the guy I bought it from had obviously used it because it was comepletely blackened along with the flanges too. It had been leaking on the original owner's car.
