Motor mounts the same on 4th and 5th gen.?

I'm thinking about fitting the Energy Suspension motor mount inserts on my '97 Prelude.

But according to www.suspension.com, the inserts are only for the 4th gen. (part 16-1103). Will these fit my 5th gen.?

Also, I think I'll just use the front insert to keep vibrations to a minimum, but tightening down the engine a little.
Anyone else got experiences doing this?

J

Yes, it should be the same. The only time its different is when you have an automatic Prelude.

Thanks, both of you.

I'll get both inserts, and try the front one first.

The motor really moves around, actually makes it hard to shift gears smoothly, so I hope this helps.

Yup mounts should be the same. Oh man, you gotta do both front and rear. I ran just the front set for about a year and it seemed like wheel hop was even worse on the streets. I couldn't even tell they were in with just the fronts. I put in the rear mounts just a few weeks ago and it is 10x better. Surprising my car doesn't vibrate that bad at all during idle. I can just barely notice it with the A/C on. It's when you start to drive that you notice. Shifts give wheel spin. And when starting out from a stop you learn to give it a little more gas or your whole dash shakes. You can't ease into it anymore or it shakes violently.
