more air?

NE 1 take off the black piece where the fogs go? wouldnt that let alot more air to the cai??

itd obviously allow a bit more air in...but I doubt very much you would see any gains from that. Your filter would probably get dirtier much faster also.

Probably not, With an AEM CAI then you can see where the air goes straight to the filter through there but with the stock intake I doubt it would help much

Pop your hood and reach back there and push it out. I took a dremel tool to mine and cut it out behind all the little fins
