MOlding Mugen REar lip to the oem rear lip only?

Has anyone ever done this?i dont really like the way the mugen rear lip looks molded on to the whole bumper.what do u guys think of just molding the mugen rear to that oem piece on the rear bumper?

i was just talking about this the other day. i thought it would be cool. also when you go sell it, you could just get a crapy black oem piece and put on, without buying a whole bumper.

do you mean just molded on to the little black owm piece that is attached to the rear bumper? if so, yeah I've seen it, I have it done on my ride. LOL

bowdown prelude did this, i did this too the first time i painted my car, but then i ended up changin my mind and havin it completely molded to the bumper.

yea does anyone have pics?i think it would look hot if the whole thing was one complete lip. kinda like the ctr rear lips for the 99-00 hatches.

it's coo.....but I'm not so sure it's worth the extra money :: if the shop won't charge you much, then definitely do it

Do it your self, mold the whole thing. The gaps look nasty and you'll probably be disapointed that you didn't just mold the whole thing. Molded and un-painted, still needs a little work though. I also molded the OEM black piece to the bumper as well.

^^ i think it looks too simple molded to the whole bumper. looks as if u really dont have a rear lip. no offense though. there shouldn't be a gap if you mold it to the grey rear piece because thats an oem product
