Which mods first?

Hey guys, well i did some search but no luck at all. But I was just wondering for you SS lude owners. What mods will you guys think I should go for. If you can name some in order that will help with the performance, that will be great. Right now I have I/E for my performance wise. Next I am planning to get some AEM pulleys, then headers. or should i do vice versa? What should be next after that, Cam gears? Vafc? Please give me some opinions, Thanks. Also im planning to go to NOS so any mods that will help me get there as well

since you already have the i/e, i would go with the header next,.. then the pulleys, then the VAFC

Headers would be the next logical thing. you've made it breath better via an intake and helped flow the exhaust but you still have a bottle neck in your headers. Then pulleys, cam gears, and a vafc to tune...

Hey what does cam gears actually do? I heard some are bad like aem or watnot. Is there any bad things about cams? I heard shunk2 and jun is the best. Will those really help performance wise?

I would say start with the sup first like andrew said.I could have started this way too, but I still have the nice lookin wheel gap. More concerned with performance.

If you are talking about cam gears they are ok if you have other mods. They allow you to adjust your engine timing to help fit your engines state, weither it's lightly modded, or a full NA or FI.They can free up hp, but with tuning. The vafc is the same way, you need some tuning to get the best results and then if you add another bolt on or so, then back on the dyno.

If your looking to go preformance wise first, then go like how I did, AEM CAI, Pullies, Exhaust, header (modified). Then you can probably deciede if you want to drop more $$ on stuff, like TB, IM, VAFC.Then you would have to decide if you want to go FI or stay NA.If you think you might go FI then wait on the header cause you need a different one with turbo.

please tell me your lude is slammed. get rims make it look decent then worry about speed.

coming from an EX SS tranny owner. all that money spent on perf mods.isnt much. its still feels like stock . worry about looks then do a few mods. vafc and rev meter and all the other junk dosnt do much. trust me. get a kit.
