Modest Exhaust

looking for an exhaust that not only functions well but isnt some huge barrel hanging out of the back of my car making tons of racket. Any Recommendations on which brand or where to buy?

Vibrant flat black muffler #1146. It looks stock, Its not a fart canister, and is pretty quite with a resonator installed with it. I dont have a resonator and I dont get messed with by the fuzz ever, But I am putting a resonator on to clean it up.

well the mugen twin loop sounds excellant, expensive but nice. Also invidia exhausts sounds great too. I personally have 3 inch custom and it is loud, but i care more for performance so.....

I HAD a mugen twin loop that had a nice sound to it, and was modest in terms of decibels. I didn't like it because it shot a ton of carbon all over the back of my car. About a week after I washed it, there would be this fine black film all over the back of the trunk and bumper, looked like hell. That's primarily why I switched. You can't hardly hear a twin loop inside the cabin, and that kinda bothered me too. I like the grumble grumble noise haha.

This muffler ran me $280 out the door. With a decent size resonator you can make it just as quiet as the twin loop and not spend all the money on it.

RS*R ExMag cat back. Problem though is finding one. There were 2 versions of it. The early run had black coated piping and muffler with just a polished tip. 2nd run was all polished. I own version 2 and have a friend with version 1. They sound the same. Version 1 looks more stock with the black muffler.

Love mine. Super quiet and looks perfect.

It is a magnaflow muffler, part number 14829. It's on their website for $269. I purchased this muffler through a local exhaust shop and after tax and installation it was right at $300. I like it because it looks nothing like a typical twin loop or fart can. I think it's really sexy and polishes up really well and you can see the magnaflow badge on the top if you look closely.

My exhaust is pretty loud but thats because I have a small resonator. I had a larger resonator from the mugen exhaust and with that combination it was nice and quiet.

Hope this helps! Good luck choosing!
