Misfire in cylinder 1.....what would cause this?

Check engine light (and atts) came on the other day - took it to my man, he said it was a misfire in cylinder 1. He said the plug was nasty...they replaced them all with NGK's and now she runs just fine.

Anyone have any ideas of what could cause this?

Tons of things can cause a misfire code. Google that and look at the list

I did....lol.

Used the search and found this:

Yet another misfire thread

I just thought there may have been a common issue.....everything is pretty new (wires, plugs, egr, cap, etc.....). My man says she is running great now - thanks for the reply.

I do see that it is more common in the 1st cylinder.

I washed my engine once and water got between the plug and the wire. I will never force pressurized water onto the vlave cover again.
