Megan Racing front upper strut bar.

So earlier today I received my front upper strut bar and when i went to install it I ran into a major problem. On the passengers side there is a huge wiring harness that is in the way and it's right where the bracket has to go. Does anybody have any tips or ideas for getting around this problem? Thank you, Shane.

Remove the harness.

You're referring to the cluster**** on the passenger side shock tower I assume, you can take all of the harnesses off that bracket and unbolt the bracket. They will all be fine just hanging there.

This is all from a writeup on another Prelude forum, ignore the writing on it about the cruise control - this is just an example of what you can do. By all means don't do something you're not comfortable messing with.

you can see everything was moved under the bracket for the AC line, but you could just zip tie them on top which would make it much easier...

There are two better solutions. First, get a real strut bar. Second, just bend the bracket so that instead of pointing up, it points towards the intake tube and engine. It's really that simple.

Wouldn't bending it still cause an issue hitting the Megan strut bar though? they sit much lower than the Spoon i have pictured.

No. Bending the bracket towards the engine causes it to sit a couple inches lower and completely away from the strut tower.
