Major Handling Issues (99 Base)

Hey, just bought my 99 prelude and have had it for about a month. I'm experiencing some serious handling issues:

The steering wheel sits straight when parked but when on the road it is slanted to the right. Just purchased brand new kumho asx tires, but there is little traction. The car is imposable to control above 60mph because any slight bump will move the whole car. The steering wheel shakes at high speeds and while breaking. And there is a slight screeching noise when sometimes taking turns/going down a curvy road. I was hoping if anyone had similar issues and what i need to do to fix the problem(s). I was also wondering about how much it would cost to fix too. Would appreciate the help

Has the suspension been modified?
Is the tire air pressure set to 32f, 32r cold inflation pressure?

OK, I'll help you out since SH Driver is a moron.

1. Steering wheel sits to the right while driving = you need an alignment or you have something bent.
2. Uncontrollable above 60mph = same possibilities as above.
3. Steering wheel shakes at high speeds and while braking = unbalanced tires and warped rotors.
4. No traction = you don't know what you're doing.

Sh Driver: suspension has not been modified. and tire pressure is corect
Kronn: I was thinking the same thing, but i think the shocks need to replaced too. But for the traction i disagree....one small puddle(less the 1inch) at 20mph= hydroplaning-Im not sure if its the prelude or my car specifically but i do know that there is a problem. but i was wondering about how much it would cost to get this mess fixed up. I was hoping under $300

If you're hydroplaning at 20mph, your tires are all messed up. However, Kumho ASXs are some awesome tires.

No one can tell you how much it will cost until you do something to narrow down the possibilities. Go get an alignment and balance.

It sounds like to me it could be a power steering unit failure but the first step would be to take it to an alignment specialist and make sure that everything is good with the suspension and the wheels.
