Depends on the amount of lowering. With H&R springs the stock shocks will be fine for about a year before they start getting a little bouncy, but nothing too incredibly annoying. Be aware however that the H&R race springs lower approximately 2.5 to 2.75 inches. You will probably have some trouble there. I would say anything between 1 inch and 2 inches give or take should be fine on the stock shocks. Anything above that and you are looking at upgraded shocks pretty soon.

I'm getting h&r race springs and my car has 68k. It will be bouncy no matter what with aftermarket springs and stock shocks. I would do shocks and springs at the same time if paying for it. I am installing them myself so I'll get the shocks in a couple of weeks. It's up to you though.

I'm still on stock shocks, lowered on neuspeed race (2.5" drop) and been riding on them for 26k miles. It's still fine. I just try to avoid potholes and crap like that.

I feel guilty saying this.. but I've been on stock shocks for the last 4 years and the car still rides smooth. 1.5 inch all around.

i think that they will be okay, since you are riding on eibach prokits pretty much. as long as you dont slam it 3", i think the stock shocks will hold up. but you know, the shocks will eventually wear out...its just a matter of when

I think the ride would be bouncy.. but thats just a guess. My sister had some coilovers and stock shocks.. the car road like a boat.. every bump was like making the car bounce like hell...

Yeah check is rite, gc without sufficient shocks have a bumpy ride. It's because the spring rate on those are hella hard. But if you wanna slam your car go right ahead. Just make sure you don't live up in a place where there is mad pot holes and uneven surfaces, like North Cali.

As stated above, any amount of lowering will cause wear. 1.5 to 2.0 inches will be fine for an extended period of time on stock shocks however. You will be fine.
