Lowering car helps ET?

I was told on honda-tech.com that lowering your car helps your 1/4 mile time. Does this really hold true? If it does, then I've got more things to look forward to my next visit to the track.. I'll be going w/ new tires (not my 40,000 mile stock ones), a reset ECU (just did it for the first time in 3 years!!), and also my V-AFC. not to mention some FI hehe if i get it soon enough..

Stiffer springs reduces weight transfer off the front end. That should help your ET.

if you tighten the rear shocks and set them on tight, your car rebounds less keeping maximum pressure on the front (driving) wheels thereby allowing u to get a better launch/60ft time helping ur 1/4 time........i've heard u can expect up to 0.1 - 0.3 s gain w/ good suspension set up

H&R sport springs are 25%-30% stiffer than stock... I called H&R and they will not give out the exact spring rates for some reason... the H&R race springs they were willing to give me those spring rates which are 400f/375r
