im pretty sure there is a light back there because the guy i got it from didnt know anything about them so im not worried about that one. just so you all know tonight will be my last night on here for a month im in the army and im gonna be gone for march
maybe someone that sold it to him took it out? it should light up when you turn the key before you start it. just something to check. i know some shady ppl that have taken the bulb out before they sold their cars.
auto or manual?

oil is good rev limiter still hitting at 6500 and i guess the vtec is working i can hear it. its just not as strong as i had expected. but that limiter is getting irritating you know
its shifting pretty good. if i literaly keep it on the floor you can tell its about to shift then the limiter hits early so yeah. i dunno what to do to fix that

Yeah something is definetly up. I suggest you check the cel light. Your rev limit is supposed to be 7200rpm Vtec kicks in at 5200rpm or 5000rpm because it's closer to the 5 lol. Is your engine a h22a? It should say it next to the extractors.
when vtec doesnt kick on it bounces off a rev limiter at about 6.5k -- does this when cold or low oil. when vtec is engaged i dont know when it bounces, but redline is 7.4k. I'm having similar vtec problems right now too... just had my clutch replaced, im hoping they just forgot to plug something back in, if anyone knows what they might have forgotten let me know
also check the screen filter on the vtec solenoid. its on the bottom half of the solenoid.
Its pretty easy to do.
just curious how you check that without having to buy a whole new one? i just changed mine, and the old one was stuck on the gasket, and i don't see that being a reusable gasket.
if you choose to check it, i'd just have a new one. its only like $13
