Hi does anyone know a good HID 3000k foglight conversion kit?
I seen alot of those on ebay but I don't want to end up with the wrong item. So if you bought a hid foglight conversion for your prelude foglight and you like it, please send me a link. thank

This is where I went and bought my HID's from. They are local here in San Diego and everyone I know has DDM HID's and they work great. I am running the 35w Slims at 6000k in both fogs and headlights with no problems. (FYI) I wouldnt recommend 55w for fogs unless they are the composite ones.

I have 20K HID's in my stock Headlights and have had no issues.
Actually you are but don't know any better.
You are blinding on coming traffic BAD! Also running that high of a "K", you are losing alot of light on the road. Both of those statements are true and been proven many times over despite what you may want to believe.

People around here are not shy about giving you a mouth full of high beams if you are blinding them. I have yet to get anyone flashing me.
But anyways, so then what are you supposed to do if you want HID's then?
misled youth, thank you for the link and i have to admit, it's pretty cheap =) Also the other prelude owner bought the same items you did and have no issues with it so i'll definitely buy this one =)

Get retrofitted projectors. Just to make sure we're clear, you're running an actual HID conversion kit, and not just 20K "HID" halogen bulbs, right?

Kronn is exactly right or buy a car that comes with them from the factory.
Headlamps designed for halogen bulbs are not made to reflect HID bulbs very well. Do some research and save your money and get it done right. Also come down to no higher than an 8000K bulb. Better yet try a 4300K or a 6000K. You will have way more light on the road than what you are getting with the 20,000K set up.
