Lights

Alright ive been looking into my pulsating lights further. I noticed when i had to disconnect the alternator that the plug on the left side would not snap back onto the alternator. Today i looked at it again and the plug looks fine and the alternators plug looks fine as well. After some pushing i realized the plug looked to shallow and would not reach the little hump in the alternator to lock it down. From seeing this i have determined that maybe 1. The plugs that go into the alternator came from a different car or 2. The alternator goes to a different model? I did wiggle the plug that wont lock down when i had my headlights on and it seemed to stop the pulsating (momentarily). The plug is green any help will be appreciated.

If the lights have done that since you bought the car, I would be willing to bet it is the wrong alternator from your description of the wiring/plug issue. (if it doesn't look like someone hacked the wiring at least)

I'm sure you already checked, but be sure the alternator plug tabs aren't bent and that the wiring plug isn't broken or bent. Check for any broken or foreign pieces in the plug and sockets.
If you know someone else with a lude and a spare alternator, see if you can't borrow it and see if that hooks up and works or just look at thier plugs and alternator to see if they match.

I know and hear of too many people that think every part of every Honda engine can swap over to another model... and they try!

Yea I checked all that any everything seems to be fine with both the plug and the alternator. There is a sticker on the alternator i will have to see what it says and maybe someone on here will know if its right or wrong. Thanks for the help man!
