Hey guys, well I was just wondering if a SS lude is possible of running 13's in da 1/4 mile with just bolt ons. I like to know if it can without using force induction and nos. I heard torque converters really help, wat else can u put on a SS dat would make it so must faster than it is now. Also, wat are u SS luders running? who has da fastes SS and with what mods. I am planning to get a new car soon but still want to just somehow make da lude fast cuz its my baby

13.763 just ran it last weekend shaved . 2 off my old time with some VAFC tuning.

Mods in my sig. 13's require NOS,turbo,SC or same amount of $$$$$ spent on a N/A build-up.

Even a 5 speed can't get in the 13's with just bolt-ons and no FI, correct me if i'm wrong.

I would say it is pretty hard for a 5spd to get into 13s, but it is possible, but with SS, unless you have $30,000 or more to dump on it, I did NOT see a way you can built N/A to run 13s without magic.

How fast is the Prelude SS on the 1/4 mile anyways?......... I'm not a racer but I tend to race my car on rare times. Since the Prelude is built for hi revving and sport driving, this is good for the car. Need to give it some exercise.

The SS Ludes run 16.1 stock in the 1/4 mile......

Can a SS Lude get in the 13's... DEFINATELY!!! Like with any other car.... you just need a little money.....

my SS can do the 1/4 mile in 15 minutes if I push it hard enough... broken tranny.

I remember one SS lude in texas that did low 13's but he had level10 pts/tc work and nitrous.

the push it off the cliff remark was uncalled for .... plus if you do that you could start flames here where of course nonone wants that ... and yes its possible ... just some PTS work/ Nos can get you into 14's Turbo you should be doing low 14's mid 13's ....

I dunno how a SS breaks into 13s even with nitrous. Airzjordan gets 15 flat with his SS and nitrous while Sadwap gets mid 14s with his 5spd base and 60 shot. Even though they ran on a crappy track, i don't see how it's possible still
