LED Tail-light Retrofit Questions

So I just recently posted about my headlight retrofit plans, figured I mind as well update the taillights as well. LED retrofits look great when done well on the 5th gen taillights. Does anyone know who does this retrofit that is reputable?

Wow that does surpisingly look good, not rice. Here I thought no taillight mod was possbile without looking rice.

I was in the same boat as you Rycon. These are beautiful. I don't feel like making a set at all so hopefully I can find someone who makes them or someone who will sell me a set.

The guy stopped making these years ago. It's easy enough to dig up his name and PM him asking to make another set but he did a writeup on how to do it. The only information he did not give is the wiring diagram if i remember correctly.

Check Prelude power .com

Ya know I was reading his thread and noticed it was 3 years old so I didn't even bother trying. But on second thought it's probably my only option next to learning how to do it myself, which im waaay to lazy to do. I burn cookies in the oven, I can only imagine what I'd do to tail-lights in an oven.

I'll keep you guys updated on how my conversation with him goes.

It's not so much if the information is still relevant and valid but more a question of if he still does the retrofit anymore.

That being said, I bumped the thread and sent him a PM. lol

Well I said I would keep all of you informed on my search for the LED retrofitted taillights. I found a guy who will do them, and the front turn signals. The price is more then that old group by however...$450.

No Groupbuy is necessary for that price. I'll have him do my taillights and front turns and report back with pictures. If you guys like what you see, I can PM you who it is that is doing them.

Trying to decide if i want to rack my brain to do this or just have it done. im doing my own headlights as soon as i get the retro's but the led's seem a little more complicated. havent found any good diy vids either.
