The seats on the left look like Prelude seats so they should bolt right in. Is that set just the fronts? I always thought it looked half ass to have leather fronts and cloth rears. I'd say $400-500 for those fronts would be fair IF they're mint and the sliders are working perfectly etc...

Agree with red seats statement...

I have leather seats in my 2001 SE and those look somewhat similar, but not quite the same, mine doesnt have the same material in the middle of the seat.

Price? hmmm... I am thinking 300-350$ for both... (US Dollars) If you look at what you'd pay for brand new seats, then kinda of mark it down from there...

Why buy whole new seats? It's way easier (and cheaper) just to buy leather covers for your existing ones...

Get new leather! Makes your interior look and smell new. I bought these off a local luder. They're not just covers either. Got the rear also.

^Edge, when did you get those? They look really nice. Im assuming thats suede in the center. I need to get mine redone to match my interior. Its driving me nuts with the two colors.

Buy the ones on the left, I believe they are Type S seats. I can never remember which ones are which though. SiR, Type S, etc.

Simon, got them last week. They're only 2 months old. Yes that's perforated suede in the center. Pics don't do them any justice, all the shadows make any small wrinkle look huge. What color scheme are you going with next time? Mine are called Midnight (not really black) with Slate gray center.

I'll check with him. He ordered them from his supplier and installed them for me. You'd be better off ordering from a website like leatherseats.com and having a local shop put em on. Don't know how much install would be tho. Call around.

The seats on the left are definitely Type S'. If the one's on the right are Integra's then you might have to modify the seat bracket and rail, if I'm not mistaken.

Later,

Hieu

Nice. My plan is to take the leather off myself, go to a local upholstery shop and have them match the inserts with the red from the SiR interior. That way it will all match.

Besides the OEM CF interior pieces, I think leather is the single most important upgrade for a 5th gen interior unless you plan on doing racing buckets. Leather just finishes the interior and brings it up a level.

Doesn't anyone have more pressing issues than the type of material you set your ass upon? J/K, whats more important than a king's throne? If you want quality, or "Up scale", why not wrap every piece of your interior in alcantra? It will only cost about as much as you paid for the car in the first place.

Anyone have an opinion on the level of difficulty of installing leather seats from an S2000 into a 1999 Prelude? The driver's seat is going and I want that new-car feel. I have zero interest in covering my semi-dilapidated seats with leather covers.

it's doable if you have basic tools- wrenches, pliers, screw drivers, and a search s2000 seat kit

Change all the seats! looks much better, I managed to find full set of leather seats of $40! Good luck with the s2000 seats though, show some pics if you go through with it.
