Check my setup page on hondaprelude.com and you can see the E&G Classic leather. It closes matches the stock cloth in design of the seams. The look and smell is great. The feel of leather is also really nice. Each manufacturer (for 5th gen) has a slightly different approach to the product. The company that many dealers use is OK. Katzkin makes a nice product and they advertise in Velocity (Honda-Acura Club). E&G caters to the restoration and custom crowd along with the import scene. They have excellent leather and vinyl goods in their products. For you info-most if not all aftermarket leather seating is leather only on the actual seat faces. The backs are vinyl. The cost of 100% leather is nearly double the mix and all 3 companies seem to get a great color match anyway.
Pricing will vary. I paid the trim shop over $1400. This included several extras. We lowered the center console armrest and made a panel for the fire extinguisher. I have also had them modify the driver's seat by changing the springs undrneath so that I sit lower in it (no head hitting roof fix.) If you can get a quality job with a warranty for less than that-then go for it.
I do know what the labor time is and what the kit supplied to the trim shop cost.
Enjoy the look, feel and smell of a great ride.
Happy Holidays
