I am about to purchase my KYB AGX's for my Type SH and I was wondering is there any need for these kyb strut mounts, bumpers and boots?

No need for it. I have my stock mounts and no dust covers (boots) on my kyb agx's and they are fine. It says that the mounts are for high mileage vehciles w/ worn or deteriorated mounts and boots. So, you'll be straight.
