Konig Verdicts (powder coat)

How much would it cost me to get my 17x7 Konig Verdicts powder coated? The thing is, they are black opal, which went well when my car is black-- but with the new dark grey I dont think its going to contrast enough- so i wanted to go lighter-- and I think powder coating would be cheaper, and easier than getting new wheels...

Plus they have a small curb, it should take care of that too...

Just wondering about cost, and color options...

thanks..

i custom powder-coated my rims.

i had gunmetal avs model 7s, and went for white to match my car (which i now totally regret...)
anyway, i don't think it's a good idea.
the powder-coating cost me a little over 200 (i think? don't remember.. it was a while ago, and i got a deal), and it seemed to mess up my rims. they were in perfect condition when i got them, but after powder-coating, my wheels were not balanced. i had to put many sticker weights on them. it was only 2 out of my 4 rims tho.

to powder-coat, they have to strip off the original color, coat it with new color, then bake it at extreme temperatures. probably how my rims got messed up?? i'm not so sure myself..

personally i would keep the black rims on a grey car! that would look really nice..

why don't you just polish the lip and show it's real color/material?
