Keyless Entry Question

I got a 98 prelude base model about a month ago, it just came with two keys. I went ahead and got a FOB on craigslist and could not program it. After some research(google) I discovered the 97-98 preludes did not come with keyless option. Now my question because I cannot seem to find an answer, can I add the keyless module from a 00 civic to my prelude and is it as simple as connecting the harness to it?

They're completely different units and not interchangeable. The 97-98 models also don't have the wiring to hook up just the keyless entry. You have to install the security system to get that functionality.
