can anyone tell me how to program my car to flash the lights or honk the horn when i lock and unlock my car?

1. Do you have a factory alarm or an aftermarket alarm system?

2. Dont know if this will help you, way old thread, real short but give it a read:

3. If its an aftermarket system, more than likely you are in valet mode and need to toggle out of valet mode to get your lights and such to activate you arm/disarm your alarm. With all the different alarms out there, I have a compustar and for me all you do is turn the ignition key to the ACC/ON position and off again 5 times within a few seconds and then hit the arm/panic button on my keypad to get out/into valet mode.

if you just have keyless and not the alarm then you can't do it without wiring/relaying things in yourself

1. Only the 99-01 models came with keyless entry standard. The parking lights DO NOT FLASH, and the HORN DOES NOT HONK.
2. To get keyless entry/parking light flash on a 97-98 model you have to puchase the OEM alarm OR get an aftermarket alarm.
3. On 99-01 models you need to purchase an OEM alarm or aftermarket alarm to get parking light flash/horn honk.
