just installed osram silver star h1

so far i like it and its far more brighter than the stock ones. its kinda the same color but i think the osram's are on the lighter side of yellow. plus the range (beam/shine of the light) is wider and farther than stock. if u like the color of stock you'll definetly like these bulbs. i also got a free pair of wedge bulbs that came with my order.

godfather, ill get pics up soon, the lighter side of yellow ( at least from my observation is not totally yellow in color kinda like a milder version)

osram silver star H1 bulbs are halogen, not hid.

I have read good reviews about this bulb, I might try a set when my piaa's go out.

From what I have seen these bulbs do put out a bit more light on the road...brigher light. But over all they are the same color as stock. I'd love to see pics if at all possible.

Yeah I really like them too. Installed in my car like 7 months ago and still going good. For those who does not know: Osram bulbs is NOT blue, purple, white tinted bulbs, they are HALOGEN, close to STOCK bulbs, but much bighter (50%). It's better than everything I've tried so far, it's cheap, reliable in bad weather and bright. You guys should really check it out. Believe me, they're worth it.

That's because there's no such thing as a sylvania silverstar in H1.

To my knowledge, that is incorrect. They are either out now or coming out very soon.

they are the same company. but the one marketed under Sylvania has a slight silver tint. there is an Osram marketed H1, there is NOT a sylvania marketed H1.

They're not out yet. therefore, there isn't an H1 version. that's why he can't get them at pep boys. what's incorrect about my statement?

I was told they were out already. I actually emailed Sylvania about this months ago and they said they were coming out in a month or two, so I thought they were out already. My bad.

Anyways, I was looking to by the Eurospec Osram Silverstars. Now I may try and buy that Osram HID kit thats in the groupbuy.
