Haha. I guess it was mod say yesterday. I put on KYB's and a rear ST sway bar. This to compliment my H&R sports and Strut bars and Tie Bars (bling bling) Not a sqweek. Bro you have to really lube those sway bars. Twice a year. The should of came with some juice for them in the box. You gotta lube the polyurathane bushings or they will scream like mofos and you'll think your car is falling apart. That's what your problem is. Now for a quik review. My car corners like a mofo. And I only have the shocks set to the softest setting so I can break them in. All this on the stockers.

Greek Lude is right about the bushings...they got to be lubed "and torqued" properly or it will make noise, most noticeable on corners or up and down driveways.

But this other talk about your brakes doesn't sound right. Check your brake fluid. When intalling springs, they remove the tires at each corner and are working right on top of (real close to) your brakes...including the soft rubber fluid lines.

Why not just take it back to the installer and have him take it for a drive?

The Wizened Grandpa speaks

Check the rear bumper cover-remember the threads about removing those little nubs-sure you do. They are on the cover near the retaining bolt-on the inner edge just below the fender lip. Cut them off.
As to the brakes-I seriously doubt anything is wrong unless you accidentally bent one of the splash shields (been there on another car and it causes a scraping sound).
Look at my setup page again (hondaprelude.com dated 12/10/01) and you will see that there should be no noises-except from the poly bushings-yes indeed that is what both Neuspeed and ST use with their sway bar kits. It can make you nuts and there is only one solution that I am aware of. The bushings on the bars are greased with the packet supplied. Did you make sure that the inner bushing surface was roughened up in some way (100 grit paper is one method. You need to use either the supplied grease or a marine grade silicone. It is not a permanent cure, but will reduce the noise a good bit. The end links also are a source of noise as those bushings are poly too.
Hope this points you in the right direction-my car is totally noise free except for the sway bar. True, I also installed every Honda part new so as not to have to take the stock assembly apart.

You got q's-drop me an e-mail

Casting another vote for the bushings on the sway bar.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks this is not right . But I'm probably wrong thinking that this is "another" potential problem (besides the noise).
