Just got a catback..

So my Espelir catback came in today. My dad and I are planning on installing tomorrow. Was wondering if theres anything anyone here thinks I should know before hand.

I jacked the car up today to try the bolts on the catalytic converter and they were rusted up tight. Even after some WD-40, they still wouldn't budge.

Planning on using air tools tomorrow so hopefully that will work. Anyone else had similar problems? How did you all get your cat bolts loose?

Thanks guys

Blow torch. Enough said If the bolts don't come loose, even with air tools (don't be surprised if the bolts break) then you would have to heat them while trying to loosen them. Good luck

An old buddy of mine worked at Mazda when I got my catback so I did the install there. Got the car jacked up and used the air gun to get them off. They came off ok, would have been impossible without it though.

If the bolt were to break, then you can buy new studs from the dealer. They run about $8 each, or go to a hardware store and buy STAINLESS bolts, nuts and lock-washers.
