It looks good, no doubt about that, but on like my drivers window there're little lines (ie scratches) in the tint which I'm not sure is the norm or not...just thought it'd be a tad cleaner..Is it expected to see some lines and **** in the tint from the inside??
And the thing that's pissing me off, is I have the OEM spoiler on my base lude, so it follows that there's a spoiler light, and the 3rd brake light is disconnected. Well I should have taken the damn thing out before it got tinted because now I have the whole back window tinted, except for the portion of the glass in front of the non functional 3rd brake light

Ugh, that's sucks expletives dude. The guy who did my job did an excellent bit of work in the back - not a flaw - because he had a 5th gen and learned how to tint on it . You shouldn't see scratches easily from the inside.. most places have tint warranties, I'd complain..
Now is the time to get it redone if it's bothering you, because once it sets it's hella harder to remove.
I don't have any tint on my car... but are the lines vertical? Cuz my friend's 328is has that too. But the line are coming from the inner side of the glass rubbing with the rubber seals of the window when rolling the windows (up/down). So every so often, he will have to clean the inside of the window and the inner side of the rubber seals.
Also, you do have a good point about the 3rd brake light on the back. I will have to remember to remove it when I do get my windows tinted.

Whoever did the tint must not have known. I had my tint done by some dude on the side, and even he took the third light out before laying the tint down. Did you get any sort of warranty?

yes...And I just inspected my driver's window again and the amount of scratches is unacceptable...But I don't have the freaking time to be dropping my car off..I brought out one of the guys, and pointed to all the scratches and crap and he acted like it was normal..I am pretty ticked off

...I just called, and they said 50-60 to remove the tint , and another 80 or so to retint the back...I'm taking the car back now for them to look at the driver's window.

Well I went back...they felt the scratch for themselves..couldn't tell if it was in the glass or in the tint, but they were nice and said they would take it off and re-do it to be sure...so I'm happy..for now

Cost me $200 canadian for the rear and the guy put a nice strip perfectly angled on the windshield for $15. Ghetto shops with questionable tint (3M all the way here) wanted $120, extra money worth it IMHO.
Good to hear it's getting looked at.. I'd get the back redone, my civic had the cutout for the rear light and it did nothing but piss me off.

Steve
yes it's going to tick me off, and in retrospect I wish very much I'd taken the light out, but at the same time I'm not willing to throw down over 100 more dollars for that little issue. I do wish I'd thought of that though

take it back. you should not see any scratches, knicks, no nothing on the film. also you should not be able to see the merged butts either. if you can, any dumbass amature can do that. hahaha.
