Jdm Swap or Transmission swap??

So im deciding between either doing a jdm h22 swap on my 99 auto lude or just converting to manual transmission.. I hear changing from an auto to manual will make a pretty good difference in a honda. Any suggestions?

JDM swap to the AT = Pointless
Conversion to manual or sell car to buy MT = Priceless

Yeah just convert your to a 5spd. Its a lot more cost effective. Doing a JDM swap requires a lot more work.

Not only that, but a JDM engine with the AT is still slow. The JDM engine isn't going to be noticeable.

Is the car special to you? Do you think it has plenty of miles left? Are you willing to spend lots of time and money on doing a manual swap?

If you answered yes to all of them, then maybe a swap is for you. Otherwise sell it and pick up a 5spd.

swap it

my personal opinion is swap to jdm 5speed the jdm has higher redline bigger cams better tranny cause of NO ATTS if i could do mine over id find a non SH lude cause the atts will cut off at 185-190 lb-ft tq and then POOF no LSD and you CANT toss an LSD into the SH tranny so all in all swap and do the 5speed swap youll love it
