JDM H22A engine light at high speeds...

ok, so its been roughly 2.5mths since my car came
out of storage and i dropped my JDM H22A in her...

she runs totally fine ( w/ a whine that sounds like a
supercharger! ) and im very happy, except for 1 thing...

when im travelling at high speeds ( say 120km/h or higher ),
my engine light comes on and flashes the crank position
sensor
error code...it'll go off right away if i turn the car
off, and when im driving daily under 120km/h anywhere, i
wont see the check engine light, only when i travel at higher
speeds and im wondering if anyone has any thoughts
or ideas or encountered this at all before...

if you need more information/details, let me know, but any
and all help would be greatly appreciated...i want to fix this
and remove the worrying aspect from the back of my mind
as soon as i can, but its such an intermittent problem, that
its hard to diagnose, but im hoping you po.com specialists
can help me out in this regard!

thanx!

Is the sensor disconnected or damaged? It may be a problem that stems from the distributer, for some reason you can get crank pos. sensor problems from that. Have you switched the engine to OBD2? Or did you change the ecu to obd 1?

the sensor, as far as i know is fine, otherwise i'd get the error
all the time...and since my car was OBD II to begin w/, i didnt
need to change anything, thus, its still OBD II...
