Just wondering because when Toyota discontinued the Supra, it still existed in Japan and when Nissan discontinued the 240SX here, the Silvia lives on in Japan.
most of the time accessories are still available for about another 3-5 years after the car was in production.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. Life is about learning how to dance in the rain
I contacted the Honda Access (Accessary department in Honda Japan) and told me that it's out of stock and discontinued. So whatever left in the store and US import store is it.
ok all this talk is starting to worry me ... I got my Shocks here in my room, and my springs should be coming in tomorrow (monday)SO UPS said. SHould i just go ahead and install them for 150 or should i buy some JDMS fogs and wait so i can install them both at the same time ??
You can buy a set from a guy on ebay from Japan. His price is $330 shipped. It's brand new and complete with everything and more for the installation. The kit even comes with the four screws, washers, and bolts for the mounting of the fogs that some claim are missing from the kit. The thing that is interesting is that it comes with the same installation instructions found in the FAQ on this board...

The last year Preludes were sold in Japan was model year 2000. We were able to get them for one year after he model was officially discontinued in japan. AFAIK, only the North American market had a 2001 model year for the Prelude. Production on the Prelude at the Honda Saitama plant ceased in early 2001. The plant was retooled to begin producing the new RSX/Integra for spring 2001, and has been producing only RSXs ever since.

Not quite; I have seen build dates as late as 08/01 for 2001 Preludes. Production continued until the end of the 2001 model year run (August of any year for every car manufacturer) albeit in small quantities. The Sayama plant not only produced Preludes but other Honda models as well and continues to produce more than just the RSX.

I did not know that any other Honda models were manufactured there... Do you know which ones? I was under the impression that Saitama was the 2nd smallest Honda plant for relatively low volume cars.
