and why do you want to go USDM > JDM...

it's the wiring harness' that are diff

from memory: the extra wire is for illumination on the JDM switch... it lights up the little fog 'icon'

when you installed the fogs... you replaced the interior harness (usdm) with JDM...
just swap the harness' and reinstall the usdm switch.

wtf... you installed it right?

Jay...thanks for the help...but i think i have mislead you. I didn't replace a harness with jdm one. (i am guessing you switched from USDM to JDM) I started with none...so i didnt have to replace anything. I just added a JDM harness. Thus i dont have a USDM harness...and dont want one. I know there is an alternative to buying the harness. Thats what i am trying to find...and i think i found it I was just wondering if i could just shave the plastic and make that switch fit. But i guess not .....i think the wires are in a different order..

He's talking about how with the USDM switch, you can use the button console that offers a 4th "hole" that the USDM fog switch fits in. This way, you don't have to steal a spot from the dimmer switch.

^^I was just throwing it out to the board. I have the USDM fogs on my car, and I like actually having a spot for the switch, and not stealing one from the dimmer.
