i know its possible. but what do i have to do to make it work? my usdm switch is barely different than my jdm. Plus there are 5 wires protruding from the jdm switch and four from the usdm.
can anyone help? thanks or gimma a link if there is one...i searched the faq's with no luck
i dont want to cut any wires unless that is the last resort Cant i just mod the switch to work?. And people. i am keeping my JDM fogs. Sheesh. i just prefer the usdm fog light switch. why the negativity?

the switch no but you may be able you swap the pins in the connector i just cut the and add quick connects so if i wanted the JDM switch back i could do it easy. cut them a soder them back togather thats just as good a factory.
when you installed the fogs... you replaced the interior harness (usdm) with JDM...
just swap the harness' and reinstall the usdm switch.
wtf... you installed it right?
Jay...thanks for the help...but i think i have mislead you. I didn't replace a harness with jdm one. (i am guessing you switched from USDM to JDM) I started with none...so i didnt have to replace anything. I just added a JDM harness. Thus i dont have a USDM harness...and dont want one. I know there is an alternative to buying the harness. Thats what i am trying to find...and i think i found it I was just wondering if i could just shave the plastic and make that switch fit. But i guess not .....i think the wires are in a different order..
He's talking about how with the USDM switch, you can use the button console that offers a 4th "hole" that the USDM fog switch fits in. This way, you don't have to steal a spot from the dimmer switch.

are you talking to jay or me? lol
Yeah i know that. i bought the console and the switch and the cover thingy. I dont want to have to buy a harness.
^^I was just throwing it out to the board. I have the USDM fogs on my car, and I like actually having a spot for the switch, and not stealing one from the dimmer.
