JDM FOG INSTALL PROBLEMS....HELP please!!!

sup ppl, i'm installing my JDM fogs this week and I want to use the JDM harness with the USDM switch and switch holder so I would have all of my buttons, and someone mentioned about a 5 pole SPDT relay - usually Bosch . where can I get this? is it required to install my fogs if i want to use the USDM switch?

Yup, you need a relay. Plug and Play just won't work here. Been there, done that

Good luck and enjoy!

where would a person get this relay?

After my bummed 1/2 assed install of USDM fogs w/ JDM Interior harness and USDM switch, i think this "bosche relay" maybe the missing link to make this combo work.

Thanks.

ahhhhh this is so confusing, i've done a lot of searches on this board getting a lot of different answeres. and for a fact that i'm not so good wif wires and **** like that makes it even harder. i need to know exactly what i need besides the stuff that comes wif the box. I want to use the USDM switch and holder. so far i've come up wif a list of these parts

1-) SWITCH, FOG LIGHT
2-) FOGLIGHT SWITCH HRNS
3-) COVER FOR THE EXTRA BUTTON
4-) SWITCH HOLDER
5-) a few extra bolts.

whatelse am I missing? any more wires or.....damn this is harder than my GROUNDCONTROL+KONI install.

P.S cant somebody just do this for meee?

Damn, you spent $50 for relays?! You know these are usually the same relays they sell at radio shack for like $6 each?
Don't mean to flame, but... YIKES!

If you do a SEARCH, you'll see that you're not alone and that a lot of ppl have had problems. Anyhow, there's a great faq on how to use the usdm switch so the info's there for you to find.

Hang in there, when you're done, you'll fall in love right away

Can anyone solve my problem? Right now, I have the JDM fogs, JDM switch, USDM harness & relays. Plug and pray doesn't work. Does anyone know which wires to hack to make my setup work? I don't want to shell out another $XX for the USDM switch, casing, etc.
