JDM Fog H3C bulb. nobody asked for bluish bulb....

I researched..

and there was alot of threads regarding,
"which bulb for h3c!"

Well, Narva Golds, piaa ion yellow, etc yellow, etc yellow.
koito white, raybrig white, piaa extreme, etc.

Well, My HID is 10,000k (hey hey its dim enough not to blind anybody. ).
Its deep bluish tint. I want a bulb that'll match this color.

I mean, at least close enough.. Now, i dont want to get just PURE blue bulb which cops will murder me.

whats the best white bulb with most blue-ish hint on 'em?

I love the color of Piaa Spark Blue or something, but i don't see those in h3c.

please help.

^^^Just buy the Piaa Spark Blue H3 and do the wire modification. I done it and if I can do it, anyone can. It is a very easy modification. Do a search or check the FAQ section.

Your not going to find many bulbs in H3c. Most of the brands you mentioned in your thread are H3's bulbs that people recommend doing the conversion from H3c --> H3 for.

Yea do the conversion, it's easy. Plus H3 bulbs are in general cheaper than H3C's.

It's the jdm factor of the H3C's I guess

PIAA Plasma FX are a pretty deep blue. I had them briefly, but sold them due to the huge color difference with my headlights.

Hmm.. thanks for advices people.

I did some more research, and saw some other H3C-H3 conversion threads.

many tend to tell other people that its not "Worth" it? why is this?

^^shrug.....don't know. I think it is worth it when you try to find replacement bulbs for the H3C.....and like all bulbs, they will die.

^Prob cuz some ppl think it's ghetto and not "oem or jdm, y0" type of thing..

I mean I'd rather have H3C also, if not for the rarity or high price.. I hate ghetto rigging stuff too.. like my HIDs are (Phillips Ultinons)

My conversion is still going strong and I have had the bulbs in for over a year.....I don't use my fogs that much especially during the warm months because I hate drawing those bugs that are attracted to the lights....my headlights do that enough as it is....and I sure don't need more of the bastages slamming themselves into my paint! I mainly use mine during rain storms and in the winter months.

No, but a lot of the time people will use > 55 watt H3 bulbs, i.e. Narva Golds or PIAA. In a housing/relay designed for 55W, anything more than that will cause the bulbs to blow quicker. This goes the same for the headlight H1's as well. If you stick with 55w H3's and do everything cleanly, you should be fine.
