just get PIAA ION yellow, Hella doesnt' make the yellowstar anymore, but if you can find them, they are the best.

Take a picture of the IS300 bulbs, and I'll tell you if they will fit or not.

the bulb itself in all Lexus is not yellow, its the lense inside that makes it so yellow

what wattage are the stock bulbs? I found some hella yellow star H3's for $7.95 each, but they only come in 85w or 100w configurations. Aren't the stock ones 55w or so?

If you want the best and brightest yellow bulbs, get Narva Gold H3's in Yellow. They will be the absolute best. The 85watt bulbs are $16 for each bulb in H3's from suvlights.com

You don't want to do that. The JDM was designed for H3, if you alter them to put a H1 bulb in there, it will change the optics and focal points, and the will be bright and glarey, but they won't have any functionality left in them.

could you rewire the power wires to a thicker guage and use a higher output bulb, like a 100w? Or does the wattage not have much to do with the output? Would heat become an issue?
