Interior lights problem, fuse no. 46

Hi guys,
I am having some problems with my interior lights (I have LED bulbs in all three of the lights). My ceiling light (middle one) doesn't come on with door open, my no. 46 fuse (10 amp fuse for interior lights) in the fuse box keeps blowing, and when the fuse is already blown, the headunit (aftermarket) is on whenever the ceiling light switch in in middle position. The headunit is off when the ceiling switch is in either off or on position. Another thing I have done to my car recently is tapping into the accessory wire from the ignition and using that to trigger a relay for some LED lights. Anyone already experienced this please help me.
Thank you.

There's a short in the circuit that is blowing your fuse. This is most likely a result of the LEDs. Disconnect your "tap", replace the fuse, and see what happens. If it still blows, replace the dome/map lights with regular 168/194 bulbs and see what happens.

Either your "tapped" LEDs are causing the short or the LEDs in your dome/map lights are.

Thanks for the reply. I will try that to see if it fixes the problem. I was hoping that it's not the multiplex control unit that is broken since it's really expensive, although other functions like buzzer and key reminder are still working except for turning on the dome light.

I had the same issue when I put LED's in my map lights. It was a bad ground in the LED itself. Pull all the LEDS and then put in a new fuse. Then start putting them back in one at a time, as soon as the fuse blows..thats gonna be your bad LED. If they all end up working...then you have a short somewhere in the system. Good Luck!
