I was curious if any of you all have removed the interior carpet and replaced it with a non-OEM cover. Such as a vinyl or what have you. Some material that was not molded for the vehicle. I want to do this in the coming up months. The 2 shops around here were kinda A-Holes when I inquired about the steering wheel (re-wrap). Both said they couldn't do that. So that being the case, it doesn't really instill any confidence in the possible consumer.

it wasn't a popular idea on prelude power, i doubt it'll be much more popular here.

i'd take the carpet out of my wrangler and put rhino liner in it, but well that sits outside without a top and goes though mud

Well, as of yet I haven't done anything. Carpet is just not my thing. Holds on to smells, stains, etc.

I just want to ask why do you want to remove your carpet and then replace it with vinyl? For me, it is better if I use carpet rather than vinyl. It is stronger than the first one.
