Interesting Little Problem...

Alright, now I dont know how this could happen, and i hope someone has some insight to it, but here it does.

One day I noticed when i turned my lights on, my aux. lights wouldnt go on. Now, being rattled, i turned the car off, and turned it on and tried again, and sure they worked. So i tried it ONCE more just to see if that was a fluke, and this time they would not turn on. So i say screw it and go pick up my buddy. While waiting outside, im getting anxious to tell him about this rattling experience. The SECOND he sits down in the seat and closes his door, the lights turn on...

And just today, i was putting in my taillight bulbs, and sure enough my aux lights wouldnt turn on again. So i go get my buddy, and once again, as soon as he sits down, BAM, on.

WHAT, on EARTH, would cause this? Why would the lights not work sometimes, and work other times, and why would they turn on when there is a passenger? or is it just a fluke...

Haha sorry I just didn't know how else to say it. I mean when you only turn your lights on, but not your headlights. When you turn the light button just one click, and your gauges go on and taillights.

Are you referring to the 168/194 bulbs inside the headlight assembly? If so, those are called parking lights. Lesser educated folks sometimes call them city lights.

Intermittent electrical problem like a loose connection. Possibly in the wiring or in the switch.
