Interesting 5th gen...

SH too, lol.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2496569666

who wants first crack ...?

to make this technical: it's basically not an SH because you can't retain ATTS with an H23 transmission, correct? And for you CA guys, am I right to think that it's BS that "high" compress like 10.6 puts you below emissions standards?

I wonder why he has a base shift knob/shift boot. Anyways.. the "high" compression of 10.6 is sort of bs from saying that it won't pass emissions. As I think you are correct when you say you cannot retain ATTS with a H23 tranny.
BTW...do I spot moooogen exhaust?
EDIT: N/m.. saw the canister, it's not moogen seems like Greddy SP or something.

SH wheels, side skirts, and door lights. The H23 tranny might work with the ATTS if the gears were swapped but the diff and FD would have to be the same.

The big BS indicator is an OBD1 ECU. With that, the ATTS will no longer work AT ALL. It is dead weight. That's also a big reason it will not pass emissions.

I think he started out with a SH and then blew the motor, and swapped in a jdm h22 w/ the h23 tranny; I'm sure the atts isn't even there...

Oh, and to state the obvious; Never buy a car that has a busted abs sensor, exhaust leak, bald tires, and a blown motor (at 65,000) all with a chassis mileage of 72,500... HE DOGGED THE CRAP OUT OF THAT CAR!!

:edit: and he has an AEM fuel rail with the stock IM and headers... Would that even DO anything??

He claims to only have had it 1000 miles. Agreed, though, the car has got to be rough.

The AEM fuel rail is worthless unless you are looking at forced induction or NA power adders in the 300WHP range. The stock rail is not a limiting factor for all but a wild build.

Take a look at the hood. IT is dented in the front (by the H) and there is a bump in the middle like he slammed the hood with a tool on the valve cover. That isn't mentioned. I wouldn't tust that guy!

EDIT: Plus look at his feedback..

There's a picture of him revving the motor to 6,500 rpms in neutral.. to prove what, that the tach works? I wouldn't even think of doing something like that, let alone use it to advertise the car I'm trying to sell. Obviously he drive it like he stole it, probably not worth buying unless you can get it for dirt cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if the motor was swapped shade tree by him and some buddies who agreed to work for beer. I think the saying is Caveat Emptore...

Claims the radio is an easy fix, just a fuse. Unless he has the code, you gotta pull the radio, call a Honda dealer and have them get the code for you.
