Before you get flamed on, grab a fireproof blanket. Once you have the blanket, do a search for dyno comparisons between CAI and SRI.

an intake will make ur car sound better, idk much about which sounds better, but both will make that difference

CAI is supposed to be better, but it puts you at risk of intaking water and screwing up your engine

intakes dont make much of a difference in performace, CAI can be up to $100 more, the difference in performance between the two probly isnt that much

i got a short ram

There are many threads already about this subject...I can understand why a lot of the older members tell many people to search.

Here I did it for you.

This is a post to the N/A Library. In Artifex's second post, there is a list of intake threads.
N/A Performance Library (README!)

This is a link to the results from the search I did with the search engine on this site.
And check this out...
Showing results 1 to 25 of 500
Search took 2.83 seconds. Search: Key Word(s): Intake
http://www.preludeonline.com/search....chquery=Intake

Here is a study of intakes by a luder known as Blake.
Short Ram Intake Dyno Testing

Search around. The answers are out there.

just ask agent sully.

I just sold my SEARCH cai to another forum member. I suggest checking those out. They're well worth your time.

They are good but over priced for what you get. What one did you have? The CAI or SRI?

Blakes findings were right. Honda did a great job with their induction system so their is no need except cosmetic when "upgrading" to another intake style

also weight reduction lol

bendy straw custom intake bolted to mouth of engine bay where stock intake goes into bumper. can do it for like 50 bucks or less. not at refined as an iceman or whatever but gets er done. i think they overcomplicated the intake.

So, should I replace my CAI with a 3" hose from a shop vac?
