Installing the Level Sports Blue Convex

this isnt a installation guide. just pics and tips, and hassel.

so i got my blue convex in the mail, courtsey of RedPrelude00. and i thank him. but the install directions are horrible. and i know this isnt RedPrelude00' s problem cause he just sells them. so dont think im trying to blame him. but i figured they would take like 10-15 minutes to install so i started before i had to go to work. try 3 hours. it was stupid. i didnt know if you had to take the whole casing of the mirror off. so i did and then couldnt even screw in the screws cause the damn mirror was in the was. but i just got done so im happy. here some pics.

the first oem mirror i tried taking out out gently, but it broke, sliting my finger. second one i shattered before i started trying to get that f****r out. then the last pic i the light reflected perfectedly to put "level" backwards on my passenger side door, and it looked cool, so i took a pic of it.

Tips: use some kind of lude to put those little balls to put back into the plastic piece... i used crisco, but those things are the a bish to put back on most time consuming. so have fun if you pick some up and if you have any questions just ask. thanks

putting the mirror back on the balls really is a bish..but at least you didn't have to replace and take apart the whole inside assembly like i did

if you put the mirror in a pot of boiling water, it's real easy and doesn't take that long. and also as a FYI, if you used the 3M tape, you might want to go back an use silicon to make sure it stays on the plastic backing. my mirror almost fell out 'cause the 3M tape that came with it didn't last too long.
