Installed H&R race springs and clunking in rear

Anybody have this problem. the rear springs clunk when i go over a bump. I trim the factory bumpstop 1.25'' like the manual says.Dont know what the problem is.BTW i still have teh factory shocks.

oh great! you have the same prob? Does yours just clunk in the rear or both?Did you cut your bumpstops also?

try wrapping some rubber tubing around the progressive coils (the ones that are really close together)

that is the probable cause of your clunking, assuming the install was done correctly, and everything is tightend up

You might also want to check to see the rear antisway bar is tight... Check the Brackets and the bushing clamps and endlinks..

It makes it easier to install the rear damper assembly when you disconnect the Rear anti-sway bar..sometimes the installer just doesn't get re-tightend enough (or forgets) and after the first couple of corners the bolts (or endlinks) loosen up...
