INJEN/AEM CAI differences?

I have been searching about the difference between AEM CAI and INJEN CAI. I have heard various users say that the INJEN doesn't sound as good as the AEM? Is this because of the smaller diameter of piping? I mean the INJEN and the CAI look exactly the same and I assume they both use K&N filters. So the only difference is diameter right?

Can anyone clarify this for me?

I would just go w/ the AEM CAI. Can't really tell u what sounds better b/c i have a AEM

As far as the filters go the 'new' aem cai use their own AEM filter now instead of the K&N to "get" better gains.

One more thing, should I be worried with a CAI during the winter months? Snow is an issue where I live and I don't want to damage anything.

No snow is not a problem...because your filter is behind a fender. All you have to watch out for is DEEP puddles of water, and do not floor it when it rains. Also ...i would clean your filter when the weather gets nice...all that salt and dirt on filter could not be good. too much restrictions.
