increasethrottlerepsonce.SS!!!

SS guys this helps ALOT not shur about 5spds . i would imagine .... im a dirtbike mech guy so not shur if its a bad idea but i adjusted my throttle cable . making it tighter and can smoke my friends 00 eclipse-GT

before i did it he'd beat me just because it took a sec to get to that Vtec but i mean .. now its way quicker . drag race))

may just be me thinking it . and i dont know if it could hurt the car i didnt do it enough to affect Idle but just taught.. anyways if you got a SS i recomend checking it at least

Tightening the cable is making a bad situation worse. It puts extra stress on it and will eventually cause it to break.

Uhm, do you realize you made 4 new threads in about 30 minutes, and at least two of them could have been solved by searching this site, and the other two could have just been found by say.... Google.

i know a few ppl on HT actually tightened that nut on the TB spring. Only about a 1/4 turn or so and they supposedly got better throttle response and have had no problems from it.

^The problem is a part under the pedal where the linkage is. Tightening the cable will make it worse in the long run. There are a few threads by Marcucci on this.
