Important Radiator Cap info...
Well, after an impromptu comparison test with vf1-sh's Prelude and mine I've determined that if you're thinking about getting either a Spoon or Mugen radiator cap you need to go out and see what kind of radiator you have first.
G5's come randomly with one of two radiators - a Denso one and a Toyo one.
If you have a
Toyo Radiator then you can only use the
Spoon cap (1.35 pressure).
If you have a
Denso Radiator then you can only use the
Mugen cap (1.3 pressure).
I have a Toyo radiator and bought a Mugen cap awhile ago. It didn't fit because it was too small so I got a Spoon one and it fits fine. Tonight I noticed that vf1-sh has a Denso radiator so I tried to put my Spoon cap on his radiator and it was too big.
Just thought I'd let you folks know to save you some trouble..

Crap, I have a Mugen cap and now I have no idea if it is going to fit. I'm going to check it out as soon as I get home tonight.

It's stamped on the piping along the front, you can't miss it.
Thanks Angel, at least now I know a Spoon radiator cap won't fit

Oh i just thought of something too.. mugen has a new oil cap that is suppose to be universal and slightly different from the old one. someone might check that one out.

Indeed that is confusing. I dunno man, all I know is that I did this little test and those were the results I got.

They don't do jack... you won't notice the difference anyway..
The Spoon one looks better IMO....

actually, they really do something; just not quite sure what exactly
something to do with regulating the temps, in conjunction with the thermostat
