sadly these things never work. you just have to rely on fanbase and customer want to convince a company to bring a car back or introduce one.
frankly i don't know why honda hasn't brought it back. there are masses of people still buying these cars, tuning them, racing them, and modding them. but honda obviously see's something we dont and doesn't want to bring it back. it's odd since honda is not struggling financially, so they may be trying to focus on the whole "environmental" image of a car brand. then again, why couldn't they create the first "true" sporty hybrid?
even if honda was convinced, it would take years before we saw a new design :\ 2015 anyone?
The Prelude disappeared due to declining sales. One thing drives a corporation: profit margin. Convince them there is a market for 60,000 units a year, and they would bring the Prelude back. Nothing short of convincing them they can make a profit by bringing it back will bring it back.

Masses of ppl? They didn't sell well when new, now they are at the price point of 16 year olds with a fast and furious mentality.
If you knew what the prelude was used for, then you would understand why.

The people that "want" the Prelude back are not going to pay $30K for one. They will be in the used car price range, and there are plenty of them to fill that gap.
