Ignition Switch Problem?

Ok i am pretty sure my ignition switch just went to $hit. I knew it was going bad but today the car completley stalled on I83. I had to take the back way home and it stalled about 8 times the whole ride. I notice it stalls when the key is jiggled. Can anyone who has had this problem before help confirm it. Also my friend recently drove my car hard to compare it to his civic, (he was jelous as hell) Could this have made the problem become so servere so quick. I have already baught a new swtch and home to install it tomorro. Thanks!

Was your car ever serviced for the ignition switch recall?

call the service dept and any dealer, give them your vin and they can tell you what recalls have and have not been done.

If he was caught your car could have been impounded.
